Well I wanted to create a complex piece for this one and I think I used every art and Photoshop technique I know.

I'm really pleased with the results and after finishing it and staring at it for a while I realized how such and incredibly popular character such as Krystal is being completely pushed aside by Nintendo. It almost makes me sad that Rareware conceded her right over. Maybe by now we would have had a true Dinosaur Planet game as it was first envisioned before the whole StarFox franchise got shoehorned into it, I like StarFox, but from the very beggining it was clear that Krystal was going to be the lead in Dinosaur Planet and not Fox McCloud.

How frustrating must it be for her original creator see how things have turned out. As a personal note I would like to say that it would be an honor to meet the artist that created her and shake his/her hand. Does anybody know the name of this person?

I too feel that Krystal's role has been less than stellar, but the StarFox series itself has been very small, depsite it's fame.

It has a total of 6 games, 7 when StarFox 64 3D comes out.

Out of those 7...

Three are remakes of the same story. (the first)

One was never released despite its completion. (StarFox 2)

And one was the game which this (utterly masterful) piece is based on, and never had anything to do with StarFox.

So they have... three stories that are their own. And apparently Command sucked.

Sorry for a rant, but this really saddens me. Great piece though.
